New Star Wars Movie Episode 7 by JJ Abrams

Disney and LucasFilm have formalized the appointment of JJ Abrams for the realization of New Star Wars Movie: Episode VII 


Fans STAR TREK and STAR WARS have long competed with each other in all respects. This competition will got hotter with the news of Star Trek director JJ Abrams is willing to work on the film New STAR WARS EPISODE 7

Star Wars creator, George Lucas, agreed with the chosen JJ Abrams as director. Lucas himself is now retired and sold the film franchise. Lucasfilm is now part of The Walt Disney Co. Lucas sold the company he founded it in Disney worth U.S. $ 4.05 billion in October.

Two directors were previously strictly selected are Abrams and Ben Affleck. Abrams seems superior to the director's ARGO. "It can be ascertained that JJ has contracted," said one source told Deadline. 

This news obviously is contrary to Abrams's decision earlier that he would not "betray" STAR TREK. 

"There were some initial discussions and I immediately decided to remain devoted to Star Trek, but I'm also a fan of Star Wars. I would not want to be involved in the project," he said last December. 

Some of the names that had expressed to replace George Lucas is Joss Whedon, Guillermo del Toro, Wes Anderson and Steven Spielberg. 


The screenplay New Star Wars Movie: Episode 7 


The screenplay new Star Wars: Michael Arndt, an Oscar-winning screenwriting for film Little Miss Sunshine and Toy Story 3 will write Episode VII.

While Lawrence Kasdan, screenwriter for Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, as well as Simon Kinberg, who wrote the screenplay Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Sherlock Holmes, played by Robert Downey Jr.., Will be a consultant.

“It was very impressive to be able to invite JJ, who is from the beginning we wanted so we decided to make a follow-up movie Star Wars," said Lucasfilm boss, Kathleen Kennedy.

Kennedy added, J.J. is the perfect director for this film. Besides having great instincts as a filmmaker, he also has the intuition to understand this franchise. “He can truly understand the essence of the Star Wars films, and his talents will produce a film that will not be forgotten," he said.

Abrams, who has made films such as Mission: Impossible III, and also scored the television series, such as Lost, Alias, Felicity and Fringe, not much to say about this. However, he indicated his interest in Star Wars since I was a child, like other children of his generation.
