Scarlett Johansson didn't appear on the Broadway 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof'': Scarlett Johansson cancel toappear on the new Broadway titled 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof' at the weekend after reportedly fell sick.

The actress had a role in a play by Tennessee Williams, who once became famous when the movie was made, and the main character was played by Dame Elizabeth Taylor in 1958, production of the drama is scheduled to begin on January 13.

The preview actually started last month, but the audience can not see the appearance of the character of Scarlett Johansson on Sunday as Maggie Cat after reported that she was sick with the flu.

Scarlett Johansson’s representative told the New York Daily News, "Yes, she cancel to appear on Sunday of the Broadway ‘Cat on a Hot Tin Roof’ because of the flu. Yet she managed to appear in two performances on Saturday, despite the pain."
